Wedding Invitations

Yesterday Adam took a couple of hours out to go and visit A14 print finishing who have his wedding invites on press at the moment. Its turned to be quite a unique project using GF Smith Colorplan paper and Bedrock board and a number of different print processes and finishes. Which will include; foil blocking in two colours, litho printing, digital printing, duplexing, creasing and saddle stitching. We’re looking forward to seeing the finished results.

Special Delivery!

We are pleased to announce that Carina and Stuart have had their first child! Hallie Jane McMorran arrived a couple of weeks early, on Friday 22nd April, weighing 6 pounds and half an ounce in Norwich Hospital – its a long story….

Many thanks to everyone for their cards, presents and kind wishes, they are all very much appreciated.

Fuse Design - Lincoln 10K

Lincoln 10K Run

Last Sunday over 4,000 people completed the City of Lincoln 10K run. 3 of those ‘athletes’ where Stuart McMorran from Fuse, Simon Munro, and Daren Revell from Revco Landscapes.  All put in respectable times, Stuart and Daren, completing it in 58.54, with Simon finishing in just over an hour, whose training consisted of staying out drinking until the early hours on the night before the race!  Well done to everyone who took part and bring on next year!

Future Self Promotion?

Working along side London based Product Designer – Alex Hammond - We looked into just what is possible using coloured acrylic and laser cutting.

Laser cutting is traditionally used for industrial manufacturing applications, but we are always on the look out for creative, new and interesting ways to market both ourselves and our clients. As a starting point with we just played around with our existing branding.  Alex was interested in seeing how this process could help him in one of his upcoming furniture design briefs. Its always good to see just what is possible by exploring different avenues when it comes to self promotional pieces, hopefully aiding both us and our clients to stand out from the crowd!

Stuart’s Niece, Ruby Jane Coles, pictured modeling her new Liverpool Strip which was a present from her uncle! Ruby is just over 4 months old, and her parents, Deb and Kev are enjoying the challenges that parenthood brings.  Its too early at present to see if Ruby has the creative gene, but she is already showing she has good taste so all the early signs are there!

work wear – revco

Clients, Revco this week received their delivery of this Summers work wear. Fuse recently re-branded the Landscape Architects, and are currently redesigning their current website.  All the latest Revco work wear have embroidered logos on the front and screen printed logos on the back and where produced locally to the company’s offices in Suffolk. Revco are looking to provide their employees, with hooded tops this winter to add to there employees clothing range of tee-shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts and high vis. work jackets.
